The spear has been used throughout history as a hunting and fishing tool as well as being used as for defensive purposes. Used for thrusting or as a javelin for throwing, the spear is the most commonly used item for hunting and defense in history. The Multi Spear Survival Card contains two survival spear head that can function as two large flat spear tips for hunting or defense, or you can slide them into each other forming a single broad head sized spear point, allowing for multiple variations depending on what the situation calls for, so you never have to worry about how to make a spear in the forest since all you need is a handle for your survival spear head card. HOW TO MAKE A SPEAR IN THE FOREST WITH THE SURVIVAL SPEAR HEAD CARD
Gather your Spear Shaft – Generally, for safety a good rule of thumb is to use a spear shaft about ¾” to 1” in diameter minimum. Generally, for safety if you keep a spear slightly longer than you are tall it helps avoid stabbing yourself in a fall by accident and are great to double as walking sticks. Short spears are perfectly useful as well, generally short spears are used for throwing. Clean the limb – trim any branches and bark from the outside of your spear shaft making it as smooth as possible and free of debris.
Attach the point of the spear– attach your spear point to one end of your spear, you can taper the end to make the spear penetrate easier and not hang up so easily. Attach the secondary point of the spear (if desired) – Wrap your spear points securing them onto your spear shaft, wrap heavily where the spear and the wood meet, to increase the strength of your spear head and help the wood not break or chip and your diy spear is ready to go. Tip: You can fire harden your spear shaft before attaching the spear head to increase its durability and strength.
